Description - IFAPA



The IFAPA is a public institution with seven main research areas: Agricultural Production, Crop Protection, Biotechnology, Organic Production and Natural Resources, Food Technology, Agricultural Economics and Sociology and Fishery. The Institute is present in the eight provinces of Andalusia, with a staff of some 500 people and 75 researchers. The members of the Agricultural Economics and Sociology area are located in three centres (Cordoba, Granada and Seville) with three main areas of interest: agricultural policy analysis, rural development and environmental economics.

 



Pedro Ruiz Avilés

Type of activity: Working on regional research and development program of the Junta de Andalucía. Currently, developing a network of farms in Andalusia to assess the impact of different policy measures for the regional government (Junta de Andalucia).
